The "Valdes" was built in 1914. On the 18/02/17 whilst in the English Channel 7 miles south of Portland Bill, Dorset, on voyage from Manchester to Cherbourg with a cargo of hay and flour she was torpedoed by U-84 and sunk. 11 crew were lost. | |||
