- aged: 36 - born: Dunham Massey, Cheshire.   Plus 5 younger siblings.

Until now, his mother's name was recorded as Mary A. Walton.  Hereafter
it's recorded as Margaret Walton??? I cannot find a death reference to Mary
A. nor a marriage to a Margaret

Married Ada Thompson during the June quarter 1903 in the Barton upon Irwell
R.D. - ref: 8c/1110.

1911 Census - 342 Trafford Road, Patricroft, Eccles, Lancashire.    Head of
household - Married - aged: 32 - occ: Blacksmith - born: Dunham, Cheshire. 
  Also - Ada Walton - Wife - aged: 29 - born: Patricroft, Lancashire.  
Plus 1 son and 2 daughters.   There were three boarders.

MIC - No record of him serving over seas.   Awarded the BWM & VM only.

Commemorated on the private family (grand parents - Thompson family)
gravestone in St. Catherine's, Barton on Irwell.   Ref: 3 C 13.

Pension Records - Widow - 2 Enfield Street, Patricroft, Lancashire.  He had
been discharged from the Army.  A £10 grant was paid to his widow on the
22nd January 1920.   His file was destroyed on the 10th May 1927.

His wife, Ada died 04/09/1967 aged 85 years.
