the son of John & Elizabeth Wildman Whinfield (nee Stubbs).     Birth
registered as Christopher Bee Whinfield.

- Married - aged: 49 - occ: Army Pensioner & Messenger Port - born: Lymm.

His father - John Whinfield died in 1900 - aged: 57.   Died at the time of
his youngest son's birth.

Whinfield) aged: 10 - Scholar - born: Altrincham.   Head of household -
Elizabeth Wildman Whinfield - Widow - aged: 39 - born: Gibraltar (British
Subject).   Plus - 3 siblings (the youngest aged: 1) & 1 boarder.

1911 Census - 9 Woodfield Road, Broadheath.  Son - aged: 20 - occ:
Hairdresser's Assistant - born: Altrincham.   Head of household - Elizabeth
Wildman Whinfield - Widow - aged: 39 - born: Gibraltar (British Subject).  
Plus - 3 siblings.

Member of St. Alban's Church, Broadheath.

MIC - gives no information other than he was awarded the BWM & the VM,
indicating that he did not go to France until 1916.

Death reported in the 30/03/1917 edition of the Altrincham Guardian.

His father John, served in the Northamptonshire Rgt for 21 years and fought
in the Zulu Wars.   He married Elizabeth Wildman Stubbs during the June
quarter 1878 in the Dover R.D. - ref: 2a/1370.

Listed in the Guardian Year Book - Roll of Honour for 1918.
