He served throughout the Gallipoli campaign.

Severely wounded in his head and back - in hospital abroad.

The 09/04/1918 edition of the local newspaper reports on his death.

Commemorated on the private family gravestone in Hale Cem.   M.I. - "United
in Death".

His father, Fred Wallace died 08/11/1920 aged 52 years and his mother,
Sarah died 13/04/1943 aged 73 years.
