Member of St. Mary's Choir. His parents were the former licensees of the "Joiners Arms", Victoria St, Altrincham. He served throughout the Gallipoli campaign. Severely wounded in his head and back - in hospital abroad. The 09/04/1918 edition of the local newspaper reports on his death. Commemorated on the private family gravestone in Hale Cem. M.I. - "United in Death". His father, Fred Wallace died 08/11/1920 aged 52 years and his mother, Sarah died 13/04/1943 aged 73 years. France M.I. - "God be with you till we meet again".
