General Information
In 1883 the Trinity Presbyterian Church started a mission in a small
room in the centre of Altrincham. The organisation outgrew the room
it used and a new Mission Hall was opened on Stamford Street in April
1891. This memorial with 10 names was originally erected at this
Mission Hall. When the Mission Hall was closed in the 1960's this
memorial was transferred to the main Trinity Presbyterian Church and
in turn to the Hale U.R.C.
