The crew of seven took off from RAF Mepal, (just west of Ely), Cambridgeshire at 23.11 hours in a Lancaster Mk III Bomber - No. ND920-P to attack a V.I. Flying Bomb site at Rimeaux. All seven men were killed and are all buried at Fruges Communal Cemetery. M.I. - "From the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof we shall remember him". | |||
