Born during the March quarter in the Altrincham R.. - ref: 8a/174, the son
of Charles & Ann Morgan (nee Carter).
In 1871 the family resided at Priory Road, Sale.

Dunham, Cheshire. Head of household - Charles Morgan - Married - aged:
41 - occ; Farmer of 36 acres, employing 5 men - born: Timperley. Also -
Ann Morgan - Wife - aged: 37 - born: Sale. Plus 6 elder siblings - 5 of
the boys all born at Sale, the daughter born at Dunham in 1878.

Left a widow and three children.

Pension Records - Widow - Eliza Morgan, 20 Heywood Grove, Brooklands.
Awarded a grant of £8 on the 7th October 1918 and a weekly pension of
27/9d w.e.f. the 17th March 1919. The three children were:- Alfred
